I had forgotten that I joined MyBlogSpark.com like eons ago. MyBlogSpark.com is a great group of bloggers who have access to review products and services and participating in giveaways and events.
I kept getting these emails about stuff and I was completely confused. Then one day I got an email from Ms. Brenda at MyBlogSpark asking if I was still participating in the General Mills Free Movie On Us.
All I saw was "Free" and "Movie" and ran right over to respond to the email.
General Mills was offering free movie tickets from 11/08/2012 – 12/06/2013 when you you purchase two specially marked packages of General Mills cereals including Honey Nut Cheerios® (17 oz.), Cinnamon Toast Crunch® (17 oz.), Lucky Charms® (16 oz.), Trix® (14.8 oz) and Reese’s Puffs® cereal (18 oz.).

Because I participate in MyBlogSpark.com, they sent me the package in the mail - a box of Trix® (14.8 oz) and two coupons for free movie sponsored by General Mills. We love Big G (General Mills) cereals especially Cheerios.
We haven't bought TRIX in years as we were trying to cut down on the sugar intake in our household but with General Mills offering Whole Grains and Calcium in every box of cereal - who could resist.
The certificate had a value of one free admission up to $12 bucks. Now, if you have read my blog lately you would know that I have like 3 extra kids in my house (2 18 year olds and a 12 year old, plus my 11 year old) which brought my tribe up to a total of six.
I am always looking for ways to stretch my dollar - even coupon dollars. So we try to go to the movies on the weekends before 6.
In Gulfport, MS we only have one movie theater close to us. I am not lying. It is Cinemark Theaters. I had to go to E-Movie Cash to make sure our one theater participated in this promotion.
On the up side, the movie tickets here are cheap compared to Los Angeles, CA where on average you can spend about 10 bucks a movie ticket.
At our theater, if you see the first showing (usually starting at 11) of a movie on Saturday the tickets can cost between 4.75 and $5.00. Anything after 12 the tickets are never more than 6 dollars if you see a matinee.
So, we got FOUR free movie tickets out of the coupons that we received from General Mills - CHA-CHING!
Now, I do have pictures somewhat - but I must tell you, I told my husband to take pics and this is what I got. He kept missing the bottom half of the darn ticket!!
Disclosure: The information, products and General Mills gift pack were provided by General Mills through MyBlogSpark.
