What is YOUR moment of "Oh"? My moment of "Oh" happened when I realized I had just become an instant parent to two girls who had just lost their mother to Cervical Cancer. I knew it would be a challenge, I knew this would change my life forever but I know there was a reason that I was brought to Mississippi!
Before moving here, I didn't know anyone with cancer or ever had anyone that I knew die from cancer. This was a BIG TIME Oh moment for me. I have learned a lot about cancer since they have come into my life. I have also vowed to spread awareness about cancer to others which is why I volunteer for Empowered Life Cancer Network.
But enough about me.

I think my OH moment was the day I became a grandmother. I really wanted that for so long, and now I am lucky enough to be a big part of his life and that just empowers me to be the best I can be - health wise so that I can be around for a long long time.
