Dang Meatballs

..........continued from Picture Frame Marriage

{Side Note}  Before I lost my insurance I came across this neat, FREE tool to use to track your exercise, food and weight goals through Blue Cross Blue Shield - it helps!  The meal plans are great because they are realistic.  Sooooo for dinner...I visited Food Network to find the perfect Turkey/sweet italian sausage meatball and spaghetti recipe.  Well I didnt actually find it but I did find Ina Gartners Real Meatball and Spagahetti recipe.

Ingredients
For the meatballs:
1/2 pound ground veal  1/2  pound Sweet Italian Sausage (about 2 links out of skin)

1 pound ground beef
1 pound of ground turkey
1 cup fresh white bread crumbs (4 3 slices, crusts removed)
1/4 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs ($$ Saver - Walmarts Great Value brand was perfect and cheap! )
2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf dry parsley
1/2 cup freshly grated $$ Saver - Krafts grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly $$ saver - ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 extra-large (or a Jumbo will do) egg, beaten

1 tablespoon good olive oil ($$ Saver - Walmarts Great Value brand again)
1 cup chopped yellow onion (1 onion)

1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat-leaf  dried parsley or whatever you have
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

For serving:
1 1/2 pounds spaghetti, cooked according to package directions
Freshly Kraft grated Parmesan

Voila! - Be warned - I am NOT a food photographer and I am still learning how to use my Nikon
