My neighborhood/apartment building is...

Dead.  I dont know my neighbors - wait I take that back, I know the neighbor to my right planted "shrubs" on the property line.  I am waiting for them to grow to have an excuse to accidently mow them over.  That is if someone ever gets out there to mow our yard.....or buys a lawn mower.  Thanks honey.  She's some type of corporate CPA.  Makes good money I guess cause we never see her. 


My neighborhood name used to be Lake Parks "West".  Somewhere between the "W" going missing and about 1.5 years ago, the "est" disappeared as well so now we are just Lake Parks.  I am really hoping we DO NOT get a HOA.  I would pack up and move if we did.

We have a lot of kids in the neighborhood.  Dont know where their parents are because they are always almost getting hit by cars because for some reason peeps in Texas have never been to South Central Los Angeles. 

My neighbordhood is really really peacefull.  I like it a lot.  I actually seeing kids outside playing and almost getting run over by cars....my baby girl barely went outside in our "front" concrete yard for the 5 years we lived off 108th and Figueroa (circa South Central Los Angeles).  It was not good.  I wanted a yard for a long time.  We got the yard and then I wanted someone to mow the grass.  We've had 4 yard people quit on us. 

One guy decided to leave while the sudd-muffin was in the bathroom.  Another guy just plainly said, "I dont do that anymore - it's getting too hot."  What??  oook.  I would like to have a more friendlier neighborhood and that I knew my neighbors.  You know, barbecues and such but then I would have to clean and buy backyard furniture. 

I dont feel like it.
