I sure don't. But I am.
Usually I don't finish because of M&Ms - Money & Motivation. Let me run it down for you.
I have started my daughter in Tae Kwon Do lessons. At least twice. Stopped because of: Money.
I put my daughter in dance lessons - stopped because of: Money and Motivation - she wasn't motivated and neither was my car.
I started acting lessons once - improv classes - my mind wasn't Motivated enough to understand that you have to feed your craft. And then I broke my ankle in a car accident.
My daughter started swimming classes in 2011 - I had to stop AGAIN due to......what else - MONEY.
I have been blogging since like 2005. My blog has never been developed to reflect my life fully. I have started changing the design only to stop because of MONEY.
My follow-ship has been slow in coming because of - MOTIVATION to write blogs. I'm not a true blogger.
I usually write when I basically don't have much to do and realize that my blog is being neglected. Then I jump write back on the internet and lovingly click from page to page to see what I can do to put some love into my blog.
This is usually after visiting some other blog mamas awesome blog network where they have like 3000+ followers on Facebook, Twitter and Google+. Then the guilt, shame and utter jealously urges my fingers to fly across that keyboard in blogger disillusionment.
Blogging is hard work.
Which leads me to another thing or 21 things I haven't finished. I clicked the little linky thing that said drafts in bloggers interface and discovered I had 21 blogs I started writing and never finished.
Most of them due to MOTIVATION but mainly because I was working and had to make some MONEY and didn't have time to finish them. Who am I kidding, I was just not motivated.
Therefore, today, I decided to start "Finish What You Start Fridays". For me, that means posting up blogs I never finished - for starters.
There is no way I can go back and remember exactly what I was going to say in those blogs so instead, I will just give real life updates. Here are the first two
Finish What You Start #20

One thing I realized is that nothing is easy. Anything that's worth having takes lots of work. When I start anything, that's the one thing I say over and over in my mind. Everything is work - and that's a good thing.
Not to be too religious here, so please forgive me if I turn you off. Our Heavenly Father has told us that we are to work - in whatever capability that may be (9-5 job, community service, raising our kids, and even blogging). It's our lot in life since the fall of Adam.
Nothing comes easy.
Lisa - You didn't turn me off at all. No nothing is ever easy but I'd be a hypocrite if I acted like I had it all together and everything is always finished - that's just not true for me and I'm sure it's true for many moms. Umm thanks for the encouragement? I say that with a question mark because I don't know if you are scolding me or encouraging me but still thank you :-)
